I am interested in pursuing a career in environmental studies or zoology. Since I was in second grade I have studied reptiles, I have owned several exotic lizards, and considered a career in herpatology. I am very knowledgable in biology and chemistry. By taking college-level courses I hope to demonstrate that I am capable of that level of work. Forensics was particularly interesting to me because of the real-life applications and the scientific inquiry. I was diagnosed with autism when I was six years old. I wish to dispell the myth that I can not live as a contributing member of society and obtain a college degree. This course is the beginning of that wish. I work very hard at Price Chopper to earn money to pay for college. If I receive financial aide for this course it will help me to continue to save for my future academic life.
